The Jazz™ Apple variety is one of the most recent apples on the market with a firm flesh and tangy, sweet flavour. Of Gala and Braeburn apple lineage, Jazz™ is much-loved for its distinct crunchy, effervescent and juicy taste. It is also packed with fibre, low GI, vitamins B and C, and potassium, making it a great afternoon snack and pre or post workout booster.
Jazz™ Apple growers have nurtured young apple orchards since 2006, which have flourished into Jazz™ Apple trees that now produce high-quality apples by the crate-full. At present, there are 520,432 Jazz™ Apple trees, grown in Batlow (NSW), Huon Valley (TAS), Adelaide Hills (SA), Stanthorpe (QLD), Manjimup (WA), Northern Tasmania and Southern Victoria, where the trees enjoy summer sun, high rainfall, cool winters and rich soil.
Small to medium in size, Jazz™ Apples feature a pink/red blush over a light green background. The also have good keeping qualities (don't bruise easily), making them a favourite for lunchboxes, handbags and gymbags across the country.
